My Design Process

The most important part of the design phase is learning to understand your users and explore the world of solutions. I check my ego at the door and listen.

After understanding my project, I can start to frame things. Here’s where I scale the dream down to size. Sometimes it’s a time limit, sometimes it’s a developer limitation. Limitations force creative solutions!

In this phase it’s important to me that I’m actively communicating with stakeholders, devs, and PM’s. Clear communication makes good products!

Our full circle moment! Once the product is live, it’s time to see how it truly interacts with people in and out of the demographic. It’s time to listen and continue the cycle.

I collaborated with the YT Music team to launch their biggest feature of 2024. Artist Recap is YouTube Music’s celebration of fans and artists alike.

Using empathy as an anchor, I redesigned Instacart’s app which kickstarted my career. This case study is truly my magnus opus.
